U.S. election: House Speaker Pelosi ‘excited’ to welcome new Republican women to congress, work toward finding common ground

When asked for her response on Friday regarding the “record number” of Republican women who have been elected to Congress after the U.S. election, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat, said she’s “excited” to have more women in Congress and work toward finding common ground on issues such as domestic violence and teen pregnancy.
