‘It’s not a silver bullet’: Dr. Bonnie Henry explains again why face masks are not mandatory in B.C.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry answers a reporter’s question about why she has not made face masks mandatory in British Columbia. Henry says businesses can set up safety protocols that are “more enforceable than my telling people that it’s an order that you wear a mask.” Face masks, she explains, are just one of the layers of safety for preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
