Toronto Mayor John Tory said the city was mourning the death of a 12-year-old boy who died in hospital on Thursday after being shot during a brazen shooting at a residential complex north of Jane Street and Finch Avenue this past Saturday. He said he would be working with the community and levels of government to “step up” efforts to address gun violence.
