When asked on Thursday whether U.S. President Donald Trump should be given time to press his legal challenges like Al Gore was in the 2000 election, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the situations are different, noting the 2000 challenge involved only one state with smaller margins. She went on to say the Republicans’ response was like “the house is burning down and they refuse to throw water on it.”
