International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach on Wednesday said that the NBA had agreed to a shortened season to allow players to compete in the 2021 games next summer. The NBA will begin its 2020-21 season on Dec. 22 and will shorten its season to 72 games, ten fewer than it normally plays.
