Two reports regarding arenas will be going to Peterborough City Council on Monday.
The first suggests further exploring a downtown location to eventually replace the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
The second is asking council to review Morrow Park on Lansdowne St. as an alternate site for the twin-pad arena and aquatic complex that was planned to be built at Fleming College.
Local organizations including the Peterborough Petes say the new arenas are desperately needed and that they hope the city approves further looking into these plans.
