To say it’s been a crazy year for Peterborough native Mitchell Stephens would be an understatement.
Stephens made his NHL debut with the Tampa Bay Lightning in December. The NHL shut down due to COVID-19 a few months later. Stephens was then in the NHL bubble for over two months.
It was all worth it in the end because the Lightning went on to win the Stanley Cup.
