Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell spoke Tuesday after winning re-election in Kentucky, saying that the state had decided to keep “our front row seat” in the U.S. Senate. He said while it’s not clear which party will ultimately control the Senate or who the president will be, grave challenges lie ahead that will require the next president to “unite the country.”
