Blair says he contacted Nova Scotia government about resources to ‘keep the peace’ amid violence against Indigenous fishers

When asked on Monday why there was “no proper RCMP response” despite warnings of increasing violence against Indigenous fishers in Nova Scotia, Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said he had reached out to the Nova Scotia government about resources required to “keep the peace.”
