Minister of Transport Marc Garneau on Monday said the federal government is working on a package to help support airlines through the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them be “reliable, affordable and safe.” Garneau also responded to a question on airline refunds saying the federal government is encouraging airlines to follow up with passengers who are looking to obtain refunds.
