U.S. election: Trudeau says Canada won’t intervene in results if questionable claims of victory arise

When asked about Canada’s plan to recognize the U.S. election results if questionable claims of victory rise, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday Canada has “confidence” in the U.S.’s well-established democratic processes and won’t intervene, but would rather watch carefully.
