Tiff Macklem, the Governor of the Bank of Canada reported on Wednesday more than 700,000 job losses in various sectors of the Canadian economy, compared to 425,000 during the “Great Recession”. However, he said the national economy bounced back “a little” stronger than anticipated in July during the third quarter.
