The City of Vancouver says the goal is to cut down on greenhouse gasses and make neighbourhoods more walkable and more transit-friendly. But questions are being raised about the true intent of the Climate Emergency Action Plan being worked on at city hall. As Ted Chernecki tells us, one group is concerned about what it calling a ‘driving tax’ to discourage car use.
