‘We simply need more pads in the area’: Peterborough user groups deal with city ice shortage

Ice shortage in the City of Peterborough continues to be a problem for local hockey organizations and other user groups.

With the closure of Northcrest Arena earlier this year, there are now five ice pads operated by the city.

But the people who use them say that’s not enough.

It’s unclear if, or when, Peterborough could be getting a new arena.
