Canadian Government House Leader Pablo Rodriguez on Wednesday, after a confidence vote was defeated, said he was still optimistic that the Liberals can work with other parties on future legislation without their minority government falling. Rodriguez also said he was unsure when a vote on the next bill, the wage subsidy and other small business changes, that may be a matter of confidence will be, but said parties need to work responsibly together to help Canadians.
