Ottawa police officer ‘relieved’ after found not guilty in death of Abdirahman Abdi, lawyers say

Solomon Friedman and Michael Edelson, the defence lawyers for Ottawa police Const. Daniel Montsion, on Tuesday said their client felt relieved after being found not guilty of all charges in the 2016 death of Abdirahman Abdi. He was found not guilty of the charges of manslaughter, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
