‘Actions speak louder than words’: Sipekne’katik chief urges further action by Ottawa, RCMP in fisheries dispute

Sipekne’katik First Nation Chief Michael Sack responded to comments made by federal ministers regarding the dispute over Mi’kmaq fishing rights in Nova Scotia, saying “actions speak louder than words” and urged Department of Fisheries officials and RCMP to ensure the safety of boats and equipment.
