Tens of thousands of people took to the streets across Bangkok and other Thai cities on Saturday in defiance of a government crackdown following three months of demonstrations against the prime minister and monarchy. One video showed the size of the crowd at Lat Phrao intersection, a major junction in the heart of Bangkok, while another showed people passing protective supplies via a human chain in anticipation of a crackdown by riot police.
