New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern wins landslide re-election

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s centre-left Labour Party won a landslide victory in New Zealand’s general election on Saturday. With most votes counted, Ardern’s liberal Labour Party was winning 49 per cent of the vote compared to 27 per cent for its main challenger, the conservative National Party.
