Minister of Foreign Affairs François-Philippe Champagne on Friday took questions from the media after returning from an overseas trip to Europe where he met with NATO and European allies. When asked about the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, Champagne said Turkey sending a ship to the region was “not helpful” and that the conflict will be resolved at the negotiating table. Champagne also stated that he would suspend any export permits that shipped Canadian products that could be used in the conflict.
