Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced on Friday that York Region will be moving back to a modified Stage 2 beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Monday Oct. 19 for 28 days amid a rise in cases in the region. The premier’s announcement comes a week after Toronto, Peel Region and Ottawa were placed under similar restrictions.
