Trudeau says elder care, protections should be equal across Canada, calls for ‘harmonization’ of care norms

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday said protections and care for Canada’s elderly population should be equal and he called for a “conversation” between the federal and provincial governments on “harmonizing” norms for long-term care across Canada.
