New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. Jenifer Russell, announced on Monday that masks are required in all public indoor and outdoor settings in health zones 1 and 5. Both zones face COVID-19 outbreaks and a return to the Orange Phase of the New Brunswick Recovery Plan. The order also requires the closure of swimming pools, gyms and fitness centres, casinos and bingo halls, and prohibits all sporting events.
