New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs announced Thursday that masks or face coverings will be mandatory in all indoor public spaces as of midnight on Friday, saying that “too many people are still not wearing their masks when required.” Higgs said only 36 per cent of people in the province have been wearing a masks in alignment with health guidance.
