German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Wednesday that Germany and its European Union (EU) partners will be coordinating a joint response to the poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny using Novichok banned nerve agent, stating that “we firmly believe that this cannot remain without consequence.”
