Germany expects EU response to Navalny case soon, says it ‘cannot remain without consequence’

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Wednesday that Germany and its European Union (EU) partners will be coordinating a joint response to the poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny using Novichok banned nerve agent, stating that “we firmly believe that this cannot remain without consequence.”
