An orphaned Canadian girl was officially removed from an ISIS camp in northeastern Syria and handed over to a Canadian delegation on Oct. 4, 2020, with officials signing an official handover document between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and the Canadian government. Video posted by the AANES Foreign Minister on Twitter shows the handover taking place.
