Liberal government’s throne speech passes House of Commons

The Liberal government, with support from the NDP and Independent MP Jody Wilson-Raybould, passed the throne speech on Tuesday, its second confidence vote since the House resumed after prorogation. The vote passed 177-152, avoiding a federal election.
