During question period on Tuesday, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade Mary Ng said the government is “concerned” with the U.S. decision to launch a global safeguard investigation on Canadian fresh and frozen blueberries. She admitted the investigation could eventually lead to tariffs, and said Canada would “actively participate” in the investigation.
