Quebec Premier Francois Legault announced on Friday new financial measures to aid the province’s cultural sector amid the COVID-19 pandemic, saying they will refund 75 per cent of tickets that would have been sold, which will be applied for five months to cover the upcoming season. Legault said this would mean injecting $50 million more to compensate unsold tickets.
