Addressing the media for the first time after his positive COVID-19 diagnosis, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet responded to the Speech from the Throne, stating that it’s his job, “realistic or not” to demand necessary things from the federal government that are relevant to Quebec and Quebecers, and to fight for the health of Quebecers, Canadians and elders amid the coronavirus pandemic — something important Blanchet believes in his view the government isn’t prioritizing.
