Alberta has the highest rate of mortgage deferrals in Canada, with roughly one in five mortgages still in deferral. As the clock quickly runs out on not only mortgage deferrals, but credit card deferrals and CERB, many Albertans will be faced with missed payments, accrued interest and potentially less income.
