U.S. Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett said she was “deeply honoured” Saturday for being picked for the nation’s highest court and said if she was confirmed, she would be “mindful” of who came before her in justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She also said that judges are not policy-makers and must “apply the law as written.”
