Conservative finance critic Pierre Poilievre criticized Friday the federal government’s COVID-19 economic support over the latest jobs numbers saying that Canada has the highest unemployment rate among the G7 countries, while Finance Minister Chrystia Freelnad defended her government’s response and said that conservatives would’ve cut help and funds for Canadians if they were elected in 2019.
