A Kentucky grand jury on Wednesday indicted a single police officer for shooting into neighbouring apartments but did not move forward with charges against any officers for their role in Breonna Taylor’s death. Attorney General Daniel Cameron said afterward that “it is unlikely that there will be any additional prosecutions that come from that event itself.” Taylor, a Black woman, was shot and killed by police during a drug raid gone wrong on March 13.
