Breonna Taylor shooting: State Attorney General says officers did ‘knock and announce’

A grand jury announced on Wednesday that Officer Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment in connection to the police raid on the night of March 13 which ended in the fatal police shooting of Black woman Breonna Taylor. AG Daniel Cameron spoke afterward and said that there was evidence that the officers did “knock and announce” their presence and that it was corroborated by another witness who was in close proximity.
