When asked about hours-long wait times for COVID-19 tests across the province, Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Wednesday said that “Health Canada has been sitting on their hands” in his opinion, adding that the organization lacks a sense of urgency, and as a result, he’s “handcuffed” on additional testing ramp-ups. Ford reassured Canadians that he believes Ontario leads the country in coronavirus testing.
