A grand jury has indicted one police officer on criminal charges six months after Breonna Taylor was fatally shot by police in Kentucky. Former Louisville, KY Police Detective Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment on Wednesday as Jefferson Circuit Judge Annie O’Connell read out the charges. Taylor, a Black woman, was shot and killed by police during a drug raid gone wrong on March 13.
