Quebec woman accused of sending a ricin-laced letter to US president Donald Trump pleads not guilty in a New York state courtroom

Fifty-three-year-old Pascale Ferrier was arrested at the Canada-US border over the weekend. An FBI affidavit released in court on Tuesday claims that Ferrier sent the letter addressed to US President Donald Trump last week. The letter was intercepted before it reached its destination.
