During a briefing at the White House on Tuesday, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany made the case for President Trump to nominate a new Supreme Court justice following the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg last week. “The precedent is on our side here” she said, pointing to the 29 times an appointment has been made during an election year.
