Coronavirus: Premier Ford calls on federal government to provide $70 billion funding for healthcare

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said on Friday that provinces across the country spend around $188 billion annually on healthcare while the federal government is contributing only $42 billion of that cost, calling in the feds to “step up to the plate” and increase their funding to $70 billion.
