While he would not say when to expect a fall economic update or budget to give more details on the throne speech, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is working on ensuring they demonstrate the “ambition” in their plans, and added mandate letters for ministers will also give a “much more detailed look” into what the government will deliver on.
