During a meeting of the U.K. House of Commons Liaison Committee on Wednesday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson defended his government’s target of testing 500,000 people daily. He said while they currently don’t have the testing capacity they would like, the target would allow them to make a “substantial difference” in tracking and tracing.
