A spokesperson for the government of Iran on Tuesday responded to a tweet by U.S. President Donald Trump warning it would respond if Iran attempts an attack, with Iran saying Trump was the one who disturbed the peace with the killing of general Qassem Soleimani. Iran said the U.S. assassinated a “symbol of peace” and Iran would “never forget this action.”
