Health Minister Patty Hajdu said Tuesday that a second wave of COVID-19 can’t be ruled out amid rising case levels across Canada. However, she said it’s too early to speculate whether the country is already in the midst of a second wave and that the government is working on preparing the country, using tools like a “rapid response system” for communities experiencing an outbreak.
