Strong wind, rain lashes Florida as Tropical Storm Sally approaches Gulf Coast

Tropical Storm Sally brought strong winds and heavy rain to Florida on Sunday and into Monday, causing flash flooding in some areas. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) warned that hurricane conditions were expected by late Monday throughout the Gulf Coast, with flooding impacts expected to spread further through the southeast U.S. later in the week.
