COVID-19 ICU patients face lengthy recoveries: Alberta critical care doctor

Dr. Peter Brindley joined Gord Steinke to describe the typical ICU stay for a COVID-19 patient. The critical care doctor at the University of Alberta Hospital said a stay in the ICU is a traumatic event on the body and treatment is lengthy, with patients often remaining on the unit for two to three weeks before moving to another ward and then home.
