Coronavirus: AstraZeneca pauses COVID-19 vaccine trial after participant gets unexplained illness

Drug maker AstraZeneca, which is one of several companies developing a COVID-19 vaccine, paused its phase three trial on Tuesday after a participant came down with an unexplained illness. It’s not known, however, what happened to the patient or if the illness is linked to the vaccine.
