Alberta COVID-19 cases rise to May levels; Hinshaw says ‘absolutely critical’ to stay home if sick

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, the province’s chief medical health officer, said she’s concerned with the rise in COVID-19 case numbers across the province. There were 619 new cases over the long weekend and 1,692 active cases on Tuesday — the highest active infection count since May 9.
