Demonstrators were gathered following the release of video on Wednesday showing the arrest of a Black man, Daniel Prude, in March during which a hood was placed over his head. Video from Thursday night in New York City shows a black sedan approaching a group of protesters, before accelerating aggressively through the crowd.
