During the novel coronavirus pandemic, the Association of Ontario Midwives (AOM) is reporting an increase in the number of women choosing to give birth at home across the province. Jasmin Tecson, president of the AOM, told Global News that they noticed a similar trend during the SARS outbreak of 2003.
